Lisa O Neill

Students gained an appreciation of surrealist art through the investigating their city with a fun surrealist point of view. Exploration was done through the students combining imagery of exotic animals upon a variety of photographs of Limerick City, taking into consideration composition and narration. Each student developed skills of colour mixing, paint application and how text can incorporate humour into their surrealist paintings.
